What the Exhibitors have to offer

In the 1930′s Ivan Allen started growing tomatoes on Ballymaloe farm. However he found that when he tried to sell them at the local markets, people didn’t know what they were!

This left his wife, Myrtle with a glut of tomatoes in her kitchen so she decided to start making a country relish with them. This relish went on to become a very popular and much loved part of all family meals. Years later their daughter, Yasmin started using this same recipe to make Ballymaloe Original Relish for local shops and restaurants. Yasmin set up Ballymaloe Foods in 1991 with Ballymaloe Original Relish and we now produces over 15 products in the range to include a steak sauce, mint jelly, apple sauce, ham glaze, salad dressings and a pasta sauce range.

 

Ballymaloe Foods will be displaying their full range of products for people to taste. Ballymaloe Original Relish is extremely versatile and is delicious with all types of meats, burgers, sausages and cold meat sandwiches. We are looking forward to a great show.

Asgaard Packaging will be showing one of their range of trays sealers and one of their range of vacuum packers. We will also have samples of our shrink and vacuum bags nd our cookable vacuum bags. Also we will have samples of our counter bags and information on our new range of skin packers.

We will have both the DX500 (holds up to 20kgs) & the DX1000 (holds up to 100kgs) on show at Meat the Buyer Event.

We will be demonstrating products and ideas that will suit all levels of the trade. Adding value is what we do and with that in my mind we will be looking at some simple healthy option ideas, for the January keep fit New year  resolutions. There will also be a launch of two new products to our range with an opportunity to taste some samples. Just in time for the Christmas market we will also be showcasing some new additions to compliment our seasonal offerings. We look forward to seeing you on the day.
