Competition, somebody once said is the ‘lifeblood of trade’ and it remains true that little is achieved in any industry without a competitive edge and the measure of any industry being how it is perceived, with butchery no different.
All Ireland Sausage and Pudding Championships 2018
This year’s competition showcased the very best sausages in Ireland and the best puddings in Ireland, with over 150 entries from 50 butcher shops. The judges were very impressed with innovation and skill of the sausage makers in Ireland.
Since the competition began, the competition has improved immensely and butchers are finding making their own sausages a unique selling point with their customers.
All Ireland BBQ Championships 2018
Butchery Excellence International’s annual ‘All Ireland BBQ Championships’ was a roaring success. The event, which was held on Wednesday 6 June 2018 in Aughnacloy Golf Club, boasted over 100 applicants from all over Ireland.
